The Study On The Topics Setting Of Chinese In THAI Chinese Primary Schools

In recent years, education of Chinese Language in Thailand is flourishing, and the scale expands quickly as well. According to the input hypothesis of the acquisition of the second language, students’ interests influence the effect of language input.So, the author selected Chinese as the research object, a widely used textbook in Thai Chinese schools. In the perspective of subject arrangements,this article aimes at if the Chinese textbooks currently being used in some Thai Chinese primary schools are close to the characteristics of Thai students, and meet their needs and interests of learning in Chinese.Accordingly, it gives some advice on the textbook Chinese’s scheduling, hoping to provide some beneficial enlightenment to the textbooks in Education of Chinese Language.The full text’s main body mainly consists of the following chapters:The first chapter introduces the research background of this article,summarizes the studies of the existing textbooks’topics setting, and illustrates the purpose, method and the significance of this study.The second chapter classifies and does statistics the topics in Chinese, observes the proportion of distribution of all kinds of topics in textbooks and, briefly analyzes the characteristics of the Chinese topics setting and form of expressions of the topics in Chinese viewed from literature type and the relationship between the literature type and topics setting.The third chapter summarizes the Thai students’interested topics through questionnaire and interview of the topics they interested in, and also compares the topics setting in Chinese with students’interest level,under the direction of krashen’s input hypothesis.The fourth chapter gives some advice on the textbook Chinese’s scheduling, hoping to provide some beneficial enlightenment to the textbooks in Education of Chinese Language, according to national related research of textbooks, the principles of writing textbooks and the statistics in the article.
