Culture is the lifeblood of a country and nation, and it is also the strong support of a country. Cultural consciousness, as a nation and party’s realization about their own culture, is the intrinsic motivation of achieving cultural development and prosperity. Nowadays, with multicultural docking and development, cultural consciousness become an urgent need.Therefore, to develop and enhance the contemporary college students, especially90students to be cultural consciousness actively, which will achieve cultural identity and cultural self-confidence to our own culture, and this can eventually reach the goal of cultural improvement.According to all above, this paper will use the way of materialist dialectics as the methodological principle, and also use the method of historical and logical analysis, theoretical and empirical analysis, what’s more, follow the scientific and systemic principles to research. Firstly, the article makes definition by analyzing the meaning of cultural consciousness and90college students’ cultural consciousness, then analyzing the specific requirements of90college student’s cultural consciousness. Secondly, by the means of field research and document retrieval method, this article explore the real situation of the cultural consciousness of the90students.On above basis, this paper makes further in-depth research and analysis to achieve necessity and feasibility of upgrading. At last, we put forward the relevant measures of the issue of cultural consciousness about90students, which will promote the cause of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, and make a firm, solid foundation to build our country into a socialist cultural power.
