2011edition of “Compulsory Language Curriculum Standards”advocates tofoster students have patriotism in teaching, to make them draw on the national culture,enhance the aesthetic taste and improve innovative and practical ability and build anopen and dynamic curriculum. New poetry because of its unique value to beincorporated into the teaching of language teaching materials. And give full play tothe role of new poetry teaching, the key is instructional design of new poetry.However, in-depth study of teachers’ instructional design article of new poetry, Ifound that there are many questions, and instructional design of new poetry does notseem to get the attention of language teachers. Based on those questions, how to carryon a reasonable system of instructional design of new poetry is the starting point ofthis thesis.On the basis of absorbing the results of relevant research papers at home andabroad, the paper use the method of literature and case study and so on, at first,analyzing teachers’ instructional design articles to identify problems, and according tothese issues to design various aspects of instructional design of new poetry, hoping todo my utmost to solve the existing problems. Secondly, selecting “Rain said” ofvolume9language textbook of PEP in junior high school as the implementation of thetext to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of instructional design theory of newpoetry.The thesis is divided into six parts.The first part is an introduction. It includes the main issues raised, significance ofstudy, the relevant research at home and abroad, the ideas, methods and innovation ofresearch and so on.The second part is an overview of junior high school language instructionaldesign of new poetry. First, defining the concept of instructional design, new poetryand instructional design of new poetry; second, clarifying theoretical basis of theresearch-related in detail; third, stating the main content of the basic aspects ofinstructional design; finally, clarifying the concept of instructional design of newpoetry of junior high school language.The third part is analysing current situation of instructional design of junior highschool language. By collecting teachers’published articles of instructional design ofnew poetry(PEP for example), to classify and indicate the distribution ratio to identify common problems, and research and analysis these issues in-depth. There are theseproblems on instructional design of new poetry in junior high school language: lack ofprofession of instructional design, language teachers to study literature new poetry isnot deep, literary accomplishment can’t reach “curriculum standards” requirement;new poetry teaching objectives expressed improper, split three-dimensional object;ignore other content except teaching content in teaching process, teachingprogramming imbalances; lack of evaluation design of students’ learning outcomesand teachers’ teaching results.The fourth part is constructing the design aspects of language teaching of newpoetry of junior high school in system. In response to these problems, the main designof the new poetry teaching objectives, students’ psychological characteristics andexperiences of new poetry learning, the teaching process and evaluation.The goals’design of new poetry include preset requirements and procedures, the analysis of thepsychological characteristics and the learning experiences of new poetry of juniorhigh school students include their psychological developing features, the level oflearning experience and the individual differences, the design of new poetry teachingprocess includes teaching content, teaching methods, teaching situation and teachingprograms. New poetry teaching evaluation includes building a diversified the conceptof evaluation, determining evaluated object and the subject, selecting evaluatedmethods and establishing evaluated standard. Constructing steps of new poetryteaching hope to promote the development of instructional design of new poetry.The fifth part is a case study of new poetry instructional design of junior highschool language. According to the new poetry instructional design aspects for “Rainsaid”, implement the design in K secondary school, observing in this process andcombining the methods of objective test and questionnaire survey to evaluate theimplementation comprehensively on qualitative and quantitative effects. By analyzingthe results of the evaluation, the main advantage of the lesson is that a livelyatmosphere, increased student motivation, improved efficiency and quality of teachingand teachers and students are work together; the Disadvantage is that the teacherunaccustomedness and grasp the teaching time and tempo is not in place. The mainadvantage of “Rain said” instructional design is to meet the needs of students, thedisadvantage is constrained by the reality of conditions.The sixth part is a summary. Summarizing the results and the lack of the research,and pointed out the direction of research in the future.
