With the development of geography education and the implementation of the newcurriculum reform, the transformation of teacher’s teaching behavior is to determine the keyfactors of the success of new curriculum reform. The research of new geography curriculumconcept to the transformation of teaching behavior, can improve the overall efficiency ofteachers’ classroom teaching, it also can improve the effectiveness of students’ classroomlearning. So completing the new curriculum concept to the transformation of teachingbehavior is the key to the success of the new curriculum reform, it is also the basicrequirement to the new curriculum reform of teacher’s teaching behavior, the teacher as themain factors of the new curriculum reform, there teaching behavior directly affect the newcurriculum reform.The paper chooses the high school geography teacher’s teaching behavior as the researchobject, it is exploring under the new curriculum reform situation of the present situation of thegeography teacher’s teaching behavior, It can help to promote the implementation of newcurriculum and teachers’ professional development. In this article, through observation andanalysis of teachers’ classroom teaching behavior, and it has carried on the questionnairesurvey, it is to understand the current status of the classroom teaching of high schoolgeography teachers and analyze the cause of the high school geography teacher’s teachingbehavior problems, and research the improvement strategies of teacher’s teaching behavior, Atthe same time to improve the high school geography teachers’ professional development.Paper is divided into the following six parts:The first part of introduction is the research background, this thesis is under thebackground of new curriculum reform. It further explores the high school geography teacher’steaching behavior. On this basis, this paper introduces the research status at home and abroadand the research methods and purpose of this paper.The second part is the theoretical basis of this paper. It mainly comes from the theory ofconstructivism, the theory of multiple intelligences,"for the development of every student"the core concept of education of these aspects are detailed described.The third part introduces the traditional teacher’s teaching behavior and its’disadvantages. Through the questionnaire survey to the geography teachers under thebackground of new curriculum teaching behavior, we can analyzes problem. The fourth part mainly introduces the background of new curriculum content of thetransformation of teacher’s teaching behavior. It is expounded from the aspects of geographyteaching activities, the relationship between teachers and students, teaching evaluation and thetransformation of the teaching methods.The fifth part focuses on the new curriculum ideas into the process of teaching behavior,it mainly includes understanding, internalization, generation and externalization.The sixth part elaborates the new curriculum concepts into the strategy of teachingbehavior, it mainly explains the strategies of seven aspects: firstly, studying the newcurriculum ideas, transforming education teaching idea; Secondly, reflecting on teachingbehavior, strengthening classroom observation; Thirdly, reforming the teaching evaluationsystem; The Fourth, paying attention to the all-round development of students, returningstudents’ life world; The Fifth, transforming of the mode of teaching, paying attention to theimplementation and application of the new curriculum idea; The Sixth, establishing theequal relationship between teachers and students; The Seventh, providing platform for highschool geography teachers’ professional development, improving the comprehensive qualityof geography teachers.
