Learning support services come from the area of remote education abroad, from the practice of distance education, through the experience. In recent years, with the rise of the network education and the reform of higher education, the application of the network teaching platform in the teaching in colleges and universities has seriously increasing, the network teaching platform in colleges and universities also need to provide the learning support services, so learning support services from remote education research field is introduced into our higher education, some research results have been obtained. The quality of learning support services directly affects the use of network teaching platform and the students’ learning quality, so the learning support service of the network teaching platform is particularly important.In order to learn the status and application of the learning support services of the network teaching platform in colleges and universities, and to help and improve the learning support services of the network teaching platform, enhance the level of learning support services, first of all, this study through the literature research to comb the history and development of the learning support services, then summarizes the research framework of learning support services in this study. Secondly, using the questionnaire investigation to learn the present situation of the learning support service network teaching platform in three universities in Beijing, and have a specific analysis on the current situation of learning support services combined with the platform module contrast and the interview results.At the last in order to increase the research of persuasion, this research has carried on the detailed case analysis and research on the virtual learning community of capital normal university. Based on the results of the first part of the study the research constructs a model of learning and teaching environment with interaction based on the university network teaching platform. Comprehensive all the above results, this study gets the following conclusions: this learning student application of network teaching platform in Beijing is not ideal; on the whole the learning support services provided by the network teaching platform can not satisfy the student’s actual demand, including the function of the network teaching platform construction does not match with the student’s demand, the teacher haven’t given good learning support services for the students.To solve these problems, this study proposed improvements and strategies from the university level, the teacher level, platform level to improve the situation of the university network teaching platform.1、the institutions of higher learning need to have the organic combination of network teaching platform and teaching,the network teaching platform need have the real effect of assisted instruction. First of all, to intensify propaganda promotion, establish a reward incentive mechanism, really drive the enthusiasm of teacher to develop network curriculum. Secondly, universities should organize relevant technical training, optimization transformation platform module, make sure it is convenient for the teachers to use.2、teachers should change their traditional teaching concepts, strengthen technology study and theoretical study on online learning, understand of network teaching organization, teachers should be good at drawing some traditional teaching models integrated online teaching to make some curriculum innovations.And learn to use some rules to help them manage students’ online learning Strengthen the capabilities of use the network teaching platform, make good use of the platform for their existing functions of teaching and learning services.3、The platform can be optimized to enhance the campus network conditions and server capabilities, and improve its usefulness. Hope these measures can help to improve the learning support services of the network teaching platform.
