Chinese traditional festival culture is the most valuable historicalheritage of our Chinese nation. Chinese traditional festival is the veryimportant way to inherit Chinese culture. There are full of valuededucational resources in our Chinese traditional festival. Providing asuitable environment for the children to let them realize the contents ofthe Chinese culture when they are young, it’s not only an availably way toinherit Chinese culture but also an effectively approach to facilitatephysical and mental development.Providing a suitable environment for the children to let them learnthe contents of the Chinese culture is a comprehensive education. It notonly can develop children’s body and intelligence, but also can cultivatenon-intellective factors of the children. Non-intellective factors is veryimportant for children, so we have to pay attention to children’snon-intellective factors, especially pay attention to children’s interest,emotion and will.This research from the angle of the value of the Chinese traditionalfestival to the children and the way of cultivating the non-intellectivefactors of the children. The present paper altogether divides into three parts:Part One : Survey the Chinese traditional festival. The first is defineand illustrate the Chinese traditional festival, and give a brief introductionof the evolution of the Chinese traditional festival. Secondly, the paperdefines the enlightenment education, and focus on the cultural contents ofthe enlightenment education. Finally, the paper defines the enlightenmenteducation, based on this explains to detail the children’s non-intellectivefactors, and defines the interest, emotion and will, and leading to thepoints of the research, for the development of the theory.Part Two : The value of the Chinese traditional festival to thechildren. Especially pay attention to the value of the Chinese traditionalfestival to the children. Choosing the available content of the Chinesetraditional festival to cultivate the non-intellective factors of the children.Part Three : The way of cultivating the non-intellective factors of thechildren. Combined with the second part, in purpose of finding the rightchannel or way to cultivate the non-intellective factors of the children.And form the angle of the kindergarten, the family and the society, fromthis way to probe into the right channel or way to cultivate thenon-intellective factors of the children.
