As an important part of Chinese traditional culture, traditional festival culture can be called treasure in Chinese rich intangible culture heritage. The tradition culture behind these festivals manifests collective intelligence of Chinese nation, contains national spirit of Chinese nation, and embodies historical details of Chinese nation. In the field of Education, especially for preschool education, paying more attention to the education of traditional festival culture, is not only good for cultivating the awareness of inheriting traditional festival culture, but also good for driving parents and the people who related to children joining the trend of learning traditional festival culture, so that the education of tradition culture will be popularize. However, at present, our kindergarten still exist some problems, such as lacking of recognition on traditional festival culture, low level of application, and lacking the effective guide from relevant theoretical research results. All of these problems make our research about traditional festival culture in kindergartens become particularly urgent.Based on these, through tidying some related thesis and carrying out investigation, The article finished exploration about preschool curriculum based on five traditional festival cultures. By the above ways, we not only understand the connotation, characteristics, elements and the application value of traditional festival culture in the field of Education, but also showing a relevant example of practical exploration.The study show that the value explanation of preschool curriculum in traditional festival culture is very obvious, firstly, it is good for inheritance and innovation of traditional festival culture; secondly, it is good for enhancing children, teachers and parents’cognition to traditional festival culture, and thirdly, it is good for enrich preschool’s curriculum resource. However, there are some problems when the preschool implement traditional festival culture. Such as teachers are not aware of the value of the traditional festival culture, the utilization rate of the traditional festival culture is low, the organization of educational activities is improper. In order to solve above problems, we can put forward these suggestions, for example, strengthen teacher training, strengthen multilateral exchanges and cooperation and son on.Finally, the author puts forward there prospects for future research, firstly, seeking for enough theoretical support; secondly, increasing the size of the research, and thirdly, increasing the circulation experience of the practice.
