In recent years,with the rapid development and transformation and upgrading of China's tourism industry,many changes have taken place in post functions related to tourism enterprises,and the difficulty of work is also rising.However,some secondary vocational schools still use the traditional curriculum system,leading to tourism graduates cannot quickly adapt to tourism related work.At the same time,tourism enterprises are also facing a "shortage of employment" because they cannot recruit highly competent employees.These problems have seriously hindered the healthy development of tourism curriculum system in secondary vocational education in China.Facing the multiple pressures of education department,tourism enterprises and society,the key to solve the problem is to construct a scientific and reasonable tourism curriculum system in secondary vocational schools.Through reading,sorting out the relevant literature and market research,this paper combs out the general ideas about the construction of tourism curriculum system in secondary vocational schools.Firstly,the author studies the concepts and theories of curriculum,secondary vocational education and competency.Then,through interviews and questionnaires,the author understands the current situation and existing problems of tourism curriculum system in three secondary vocational schools in China.In view of the problem of curriculum system,the elements of tourism talents' competence are introduced.Secondly,from the literature analysis and interviews with excellent tour guides,hotel staff and managers,the competency factors of excellent staff are screened out.They are 16 items with wide professional knowledge,familiarity with first aid knowledge and good explanatory ability,and a questionnaire about the competency factors of tourism talents is designed.Then,the reliability,validity and principal component analysis of the collected questionnaire are carried out to extract the common factors of the competency factors of excellent tourism talents,which are knowledge and skills,professional image and management ability,respectively,and to construct the competency model of tourism talents.Finally,according to the competency model of tourism talents,the curriculum system of Tourism Specialty in secondary vocational schools is constructed,and the characteristics of tourism talents' competency factors are highlighted.Professional competence is very necessary for the students majoring in tourism in secondary vocational schools.Therefore,the construction of tourism curriculum system in secondary vocational schools based on vocational competence not only enables students to understand the competency elements of excellent tourism talents,but also clarifies the curriculum objectives of Tourism Specialty in secondary vocational schools in China,improves the curriculum settings of tourism specialty,optimizes the curriculum content of tourism specialty,strengthens the curriculum implementation of tourism specialty,and adds more.The multi-curriculum evaluation of tourism specialty has been carried out.At the same time,it also promotes the level of Vocational Education in China and realizes mutual benefit and win-win situation among secondary vocational schools,students,society and enterprises.
