Availability deviation is difference on the basis of judgment and evaluation while people judge something by heuristics, tending to thinking of familiar information. Research on prospect theory suggests that under uncertain condition, availability bias has important impact on individual decision-making.Emergent events occur more frequently with social progress and human activities’ increase. Dealing with conventional emergency could follow some rules, which people could manage it through training. But unconventional emergency can’t be predicted or prevented because of its characteristic of contingency, randomness and uniqueness. Therefore crisis decision-making capability is central to escaping from danger when emergency occurs. As national future constructors, it is significant to study crisis decision-making under emergency among college students. It’s difficult for us to research in actual unconventional emergency. According to virtual risk experience opinions, this study chooses145college students and simulates unconventional emergency situation through situational simulation experiment, in order to explore if availability deviation has an influence on crisis decision-making among college students. Experimental results are as follows:1. If college students get more comprehensive item functional information, availability deviation would decrease.2. Under escaping situation, those who were lesser influenced by availability deviation are easy to make relatively scientific decision. Meanwhile, on the basis of prospect theory, the instinct theory, demand hierarchy theory and related research on crisis decision-making, the study combines traits of unconventional emergency with virtual risk experience views, analyzing and discussing the above experiment, getting the following conclusions:1. Facing unconventional emergency, availability bias exists in crisis decision-making among college students.2. Facing unconventional emergency, availability deviation exerts important impact on crisis decision-making.
