Career decision-making is one of the complicated and difficult decisions in life. It is affected by many factors. In the era of employment difficulty, college students’own factors have more impact on career decision-making. There is a large part of college students under unemployment status because of their lack of information about self and their failing to make appropriate career preparation. The phenomenon of career decision-making difficulties prevails among college students.This research mainly explores the relationship between hope and career decision-making difficulties and their internal mechanisms from the positive aspects of individual, and discusses positive coping style and career decision-making self-efficacy multiple mediating effect between hope and career decision-making difficulties. The study mainly adopted the methods of questionnaires and the objects were junior and senior students selected from several universities in Wuhan and Guangzhou. The research got the following conclusions:Conclusion1, College students’ career decision-making difficulties have no significant difference in gender, grade and birthplace, but have significant differences in major and whether they have a part-time experience and whether they received career counseling courses. Hope and its two dimensions have no significant difference in gender, grade and major, but have a significant difference in birthplace.Conclusion2, Hope, positive coping, career decision-making self-efficacy and career decision-making difficulties are significantly related each other.Conclusion3, Regression analysis demonstrates that positive coping style act as the mediator between hope and career decision-making difficulties.Conclusion4, Regression analysis demonstrates that career decision-making self-efficacy act as the mediator between hope and career decision-making difficulties.Conclusion5, Positive coping style and career decision-making self-efficacy play a multiple mediating role between hope and career decision-making difficulties.
