Career decision-making means that, if one person want to make a career choice through a careful analysis, they should have a deep exploration of the employment information and social environment according to their personal development potential and personality characteristics. Perfectionism tendency is one kind of personality characteristic, it has important influence to the personal career decision-making. In this paper, we want to discuss the relationship between perfectionism tendency and career decision-making self-efficacy of college students, the influence of the perfectionism tendency and the career decision-making self efficacy on the college sudent’s career decision-making process. We will use the method of questionnaire and experiment, use the tool include that the Chinese Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Questionnaire, the Career Decision-making Self-efficacy Scale and the technology of Information Display Board, and there are 502 college students from Tianjin’s five universities will be tested. The basic assumptions are described as follows:(1)The college students’ perfectionism tendency was influenced by gender and birthplace;(2)The college students’ career decision-making self-efficacy was also influenced by mayor and whether had a part-time job;(3)There are some correlations between perfectionism and career decision-making self-efficacy, the dimention of organization on perfectionisn was positively correlated with the career decision-making self-efficacy, the dimention of the parents’ expectations, the individual standard and the action on perfectionism was negatively related to the career decision-making self-efficacy.(4)In the influence of perfectionism and career decision-making self-efficacy on college students’ career decision-making, there is a certain interaction between the perfectionism tendency and the career decision-making self-efficacy.This research mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)There are main effect of the demographic variables on the total score of the college students’ perfectionism tendency and its five dimensions.(2)There are main effect of the demographic variables on the total score of the college students’ career decision-making self-efficacy and its five dimensions.( 3) The college students’ career decision-making self-efficacy and its five dimensions were negatively related to their perfectionism tendency and its worry about wrong, individual standard dimensions, were positively correlated with their perfectionism tendency and its organization dimension. The results of linear regression show that the three dimensions can be regarded as an effective predictor of college students’ career decision-making self-efficacy.( 4) The main effect of perfectionism tendency in career decision-making process is obvious, but the main effect of career decision-making self-efficacy is unsignificant. However, the influence of perfectionism tendency and career decision-making self-efficacy on college students’ career decision-making is significant. Among them, there are significant interaction effects between the perfectionism tendency and college students’ career decision-making self-efficacy on 3 dependent variables of career decision-making process, respectively the average decision time, the average search depth and the average degree of satisfaction.In summary, this study proposes that every college student should understand their personality to overcome the extreme(negative) perfectionism and enhance the occupation decision-making self-efficacy, only do this thing they can make the rational decision of occupation. Colleges and universities should pay more attention to starting from the personality of college students in accordance with their aptitude to carry out the work of occupation guidance for college students and to cultivate students’ ability of occupation decision.
