In the modern society under the background of the rise of the music industry,higher vocational colleges’ professional music has also been booming. With the rapiddevelopment of China’s political and economic, the social music culture and artactivities increasingly prosperous, the people’s standard of art appreciation isbecoming more and more higher. It puts forward the multi-level demands to thehigher vocational music performances of professional post ability. However, thecurrent higher vocational music shows practice and theory separate problems existingin the professional teaching. It can’t well satisfy the professional requirements of thevocal music talents. Therefore, in the “integration of theory and practice” principle onthe basis of further to construction of the “integration of practice and theory” teachingmodel, become the important way to solve the problem.The case study combine theoretical research and empirical study, throughliterature study and questionnaire survey and interviews and other education researchmethod to uncover the orientation of the vocal music teaching in the major of highervocational music performance problems. Based on tacit knowledge theory,constructivism theory, situational learning theory and activity theory and draw lessonsfrom the project approach, situational teaching method and problem oriented teachingmethod, etc. Building up the orientation of higher vocational music performingspecialized vocal music teaching model of "integration of practice and theory" andcombining with the teaching cases, from four aspects: teacher, student, teaching andcurriculum implementation conditions of the model are analyzed. Finally, combiningthe teaching case to use the teaching mode, provide an important reference forpromoting the improvement of teaching quality in the major of higher vocationalmusic performances and cultivating practice ability of vocal talents.The paper is in total of four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part.The article’s research background, research significance, the definition of coreconcepts, research status and research design are expounded. The second chapter is the analysis of that vocal music orientation in the major of higher vocational musicperformance “practice and theory separation” teaching present situation. At the sametime the result of the separation and the attribution factors are be thorough analyzed.The third chapter is introduce how the vocal music of the teaching mode in the majorof higher vocational music performance” integration of practice and theory” teachingmode to be built. Meanwhile introduced the basis theoretical and structure frameworkof the teaching mode. The fourth chapter is studied the application of vocal music inthe major of higher vocational music performance orientation “integration of practiceand theory”. Mainly expound the vocal music class, vocal music basic course andvocal music appreciation lesson of the three teaching cases.The teaching model of “integration of practice and theory” fulfill practicebefore prophet of the epistemology. It conform the inherent law of the vocationaleducation and music education. The priority of “practice” was emphasized invocational education. It is beneficial to the realization of the professional vocal talentstraining goal of higher vocational music performance at the same time provides a newway of thinking of the music education teaching for the professional performance ofhigher vocational.
