As the common activities which designedly and Purposefully promote students and teachers learning and development in particular classroom environment between teachers and students, whether classroom teaching is effective most directly and concentrated reflect the aims of education, training objectives and value realized. Therefore, improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching practice is significant. In view of teaching and learning cannot unilaterally take place in classroom teaching, this study is positioned as a theory-oriented research.From the perspective of social exchange theory, it inspects teaching and learning activities in classroom teaching. Introduced this theory that the study was a breakthrough way of teaching or learning theory previous theoretical studies, it mainly focus on the activities and relationship between subjects in classroom teaching, both concerns with the teachers, but also do not ignore the students.Specifically, after sort out the social exchange theory and its application in education teaching research, the study concerns about:1.In exchange theory, What teachers and students hope to "swap" through teaching activities?2.Since in exchange relationship, then what is the status of teachers and students in the teaching exchange?3.Why classroom teaching presences efficient and inefficient points, for this purpose, from the exchange theory, how teachers and students should establish the exchange and power mode?4. Further, in the more general sense, if ideal teachers and students exchange model and power mode can contribute to efficient classroom teaching, then what teaching strategies we should build to correspond it? Thus, the main contents of the study include:The first part is introduction. Clarify the problem and its theoretical and practical sources discussed in this study, review the related researches at home and abroad, account for the purpose, meaning, ideas and research methods used in the study, and clarify the major concepts and theories of the study clearly.The second part is the investigation of classroom teaching fitting the social exchange theory. Full demonstrations classroom community property through deep analyzing the structure of classroom teaching and the classroom research on the view of education,as the necessary theoretical foundation to introduce the social exchange theory to classroom teaching research. Then combined with the related literature about social exchange theory applying to the study on the relationship between teachers and students, ultimately raise the applicability of social exchange theory to analyze the classroom teaching and its superiority.The third part is the classroom teaching on the view of the social exchange theory. This is the main part as the natural extension of the second part and put forward the basic theoretical assumptions of this study.First, reinterpret the classroom teaching activity from the perspective of social exchange theory, and analyze the exchange and power in classroom teaching. Then put forward the basic theoretical assumptions of this study according to the framework of exchange and power discussed by exchange theory. That is:in terms of the exchange structure between teachers and students in classroom teaching, teaching and learning is a mixed social exchange behavior mainly in internal exchange and a small amount of external exchange; in terms of the teachers and students’power structure in classroom teaching, teachers tend to have an advantage in the overall power, while the students are at a relative disadvantage position. Based on such understanding, for promoting the efficient exchange of teachers and students, propose teachers and students’ideal exchange model and ideal power model in classroom teaching, that is a type of mutual exchange of students and teachers and a type of roughly equivalent power of students and teachers.The fourth part is classroom teaching strategies based on social exchange theory. Starting with creating the ideal exchange model and ideal power model between teachers and students, propose two links for constructing teaching strategies.(1) Focus on subject construction of exchange condition, that is changing teachers and students’external exchange to internal exchange;(2) Focus on improving the attractiveness of each exchange of teachers and students.Then put forward specific related teaching strategies.(1) Solid exchange foundation-good understanding of students;(2) Establish exchange trust-good to stimulate students’ sense of self-efficacy;(3) Expand the scope of exchange-good at answering questions for students;(4) Consolidate the exchange attraction-good at classroom positive evaluation.In conclusion, the author makes the overall summary of the paper work, and proposes the shortcomings in the study and the further research problems.
