Teaching culture is an important part of school culture, and it is one of the direct factors to promote the common development of teachers and students. The research on the integration of urban and rural education under the background of teaching culture is almost empty in China, and previous studies on teaching culture are more inclined static studies. It is difficult to meet the development needs of the teaching culture. This study sought on the basis of their predecessors. In the background of integration of urban and rural education, research on the differences between urban and rural school teaching culture and use a variety of research methods to reveal the differences. Then try to find the problems and suggest a resolution.This article is divided into the following sections:The first part introduces the research background, purpose and significance, research methods, and defining the core concepts.The second part is a literature review of relevant research. Sort on the study of teaching culture in our country and abroad, and summarize the defects and shortcomings of previous studies.The third part is analysis of the integration of urban and rural education policy and the ought-teaching culture in that background. The construction of urban and rural schools’cultural teaching should meet the idea of people seeking to encourage a wide range of learning and innovation; Emphasis on the guidance and training habits, so that teachers and students can pass positive energy in their daily lives; Establish a sound scientific management system, and promote students and teachers to have the stable and healthy development; Consolidate a solid material foundation and rich teaching resources to improve the efficiency.The fourth part is the investigation process. Through the investigation of urban and rural schools teaching culture and a preliminary analysis of statistical data, finding urban and rural schools has significant differences in teaching culture. The urban and rural school teachers in view of knowledge, learning spirit, extracurricular activities, institutional awareness and teaching resources has significant differences; Students in view of learning objectives, exploration and innovation, learning methods, student assessment, class systems and learning resources has significant differences.The fifth part is combined the results of interviews and the data of section above to have a discussion and analysis.The sixth part is the following conclusions:1. Urban and rural schools teaching culture exists significant difference;2. The depth of knowledge and learning mental outlook, breadth and innovation is imbalance;3. Professional learning and teaching guide’s interactive importance degree is inequality;4.The concept and practice is inconsistent with the class system;5.The use of resources and teaching skills’ awareness and application capabilities is unsuited. Then give the corresponding recommendations.
