With China towards a comprehensive well-off society.The city,county and town development integration become more and more imminent.Although educational resources have been tilted to villages and towns,the differences between urban and rural areas are still very serious.I am very honored to join the Wuhan Yucai Xingzhi Primary School in August 2013,to become a glorious music teacher,the school has good music facilities,professional music classrooms,and even a small concert hall.School leaders also attach great importance to the development of music and art,each year constantly introduce professional new teachers to consolidate the development of art.At the same time,parents also attach great importance to their children's art training,the school freshman with musical expertise has reached 20%.At the end of 2017,in response to the policy of free normal students to help the poor in rural areas,the author immediately applied to the organization to obtained a year's work opportunity to help the poor in Siyuan School of Tuanfeng County.When I came to Siyuan School,I found that the school's teaching facilities were not unimaginably backward,they have multimedia,electronic whiteboard,and even a separate music classroom and dance classroom.Comparing with the Hope Primary School which I went to the countryside for a short time in the past few years,the hardware condition of Siyuan School has been comparatively superior.The government of Tuanfeng County attaches great importance to the local education and has made a lot of economic investment.But with the deepening of teaching,I found that these excellent teaching facilities are only a beautiful shell,the flower of music did not blossom and bear fruit in Tuanfeng County students,children's music literacy is very low,some even without any music foundation.This can not help but perplex me,I combines my own teaching experience in the two schools,to compare and explore,and finally find out the crux of the problem,while doing a lot of work to improve Siyuan School music teaching methods,and achieved good results.Finally,I puts forward a series of opinions and suggestions on how to improve the present situation of music education in towns and how to improve the students'music literacy,hoping to contribute to the development and improvement of art education in towns,to the integration of cities,towns and villages and to narrow the differences between urban and rural education.
