Since the theory of multiple intelligences was introduced to our country in20th Century, it has met its successive study booms in recent20years, especially focused on "how to study education with the theory of multiple intelligences with breakthrough point of course" by many scholars, as well as our frontline physics teachers who also have been carrying out speculation on that. In general, there are a lot of theoretical accumulations while relatively few summed researches concentrated on teaching application, which has limited value in teaching practice.According to the theory of multiple intelligences and using methods of qualitative study and quantification, this issue makes its discussions on how to develop students’ multiple intelligences, teaching strategies of multiple intelligences, and new quality requirements for physics teachers. It also puts forward some basic teaching strategies, after has studied on the practical situation of high school physics education, sampling survey of high school students’ intelligent tendency and the possibility of multiple intelligences in high school physics class, for example, to develop students’ linguistic intelligence by creating a learning environment of "using physical language to express physical problems"; to train students’ logical intelligence through applying "mathematical methods" to solve "physical problems"; to cultivate students’ active intelligence by experiments and practices; to foster students’ interpersonal intelligence by "team-work study" and "research-based learning", to exploit students’visual-spatial intelligence through "computer-assisted instruction"; to bring up students’self-examination intelligence through inducting them to write " study notes" or " learning reflection"; to endow students with observational intelligence by using information questions, experimental teaching and extracurricular practices. In addition, basing on researches on teaching ideas of physics teachers, this paper presents better new quality requirements for physics teachers in applying’ multiple intelligences through teaching. The author hopes this study can give reference significance in high school physics teaching.
