Since the reform and opening up, especially since the1990s, the Chinese foreign trade inagricultural growth is rapid, the scale of import and export of agricultural products continued to rise inthe proportion of world agricultural trade continuously improve. In2004, China made a deficit in thefield of agricultural trade for the first time.This year, China turned from an agricultural net exporterinto a net importer of agricultural products. Since2005, China’s agricultural export situation hasimproved, but the overall trade environment and development situation is still not optimistic. China’sagricultural products are less competitive in the international market, only a few classes of agriculturalproducts such as fruits and vegetables, meat, and aquatic products have strong trade competitiveness,and a more significant trade surplus. Despite of this, most of the agricultural products export amountis too small.In such an environment, research and analysis on the structure of China’s agricultural exportstrade and its affecting factors, can not only contribute to a correct understanding of the developmenttrend of China’s agricultural trade, but also to promote and enhance the export trade of agriculturalproducts in China, so it is of strategic importance. In this paper, on the basis of some research resultsat home and abroad,I will go for a further study on our agricultural export trade structure and itsinfluencing factors were also analyzed. This article is to analysis the structure of China’s agriculturalproducts export trade, based on some research results and statistical data, and then both from thequalitative and quantitative analysis point to study the influencing factors on the structural changes inour agricultural export trade. Here we select the TC index and DT index as quantitative indicators toanalysis the issues of China’s agricultural export trade structure, and propose corresponding policyrecommendations in order to improve the trade competitiveness of China’s agricultural products andoptimize the structure of export trade of agricultural products in China.
