Guangdong has significant economic position in the south of China and it has attracted alarge number of labor resources to come here for Employment. In the reform and opening up30years, Guangdong province’s employment work has made brilliant achievements. However,beyond the achievements, there also has many problems. During a long time, labor-intensiveindustries that rely on foreign trade and export which takes a big part in Guangdong’seconomic structure, so that there comes to be a lag phase between industrial structure andemployment structure. To a certain degree, affected by the economic environment and otherfactors, there is a varying degree of deflection among the four areas. How to raiseemployment quality and come to the employment fairness is the most important problem thatneeds to be solved right now.Based on the sixth nationwide population census’s latest data and Guangdong statisticalyearbook, this thesis studies the labor force allocation of industry and area. Firstly, this thesisanalyzes the variation trend of employment elasticity and the deviation between industrystructure and employment structure.,what’s more,discusses the delay time and delay reasonbetween the two structures. In empirical study, the thesis studies on the labor force allocationof Pearl River delta and other three areas of Guangdong,and establish a index system toevaluate the employment situation of21cities in Guangdong Province. Based on grey theory,the paper builds up a population forecasting model to analyze the labor supply and labordemand of Guangdong province, and find that the gap between them will become further big.Finally, this thesis puts up some corresponding policy proposals. Employment Creation basedon transformation of economic development pattern is necessary, and moderate increase ofinvestment in human capital to improve the human capital of the labor force helps improveworkers’ rights protection...
