Liaoning Coastal Economic Belt And The Interactive Mode Of Development Of The Northeast Hinterland

Economic globalization and regional economic integration is one of the world inevitable trend of economic development. The strategy of promoting the northeast of China was implemented in our country in 2003, which provided a golden opportunity to accelerate the revitalization of old industrial bases in northeast, and promote regional economic integration in northeast region. Liaoning coastal economic belt as the forefront of opening up the northeast region and the international transfer of industry, which played an important role in the revitalization of the Northeast. Construction of the "five point and one line " will certainly become an engine that driving the rapid development of the northeast region particularly. This dissertation analyzes the theory of the interactive development of regional economics at the begining,then analyzes the main practices and experiences of the interaction development about the coastal with hinterland at home and abroad , and indicates the important position and role of Liaoning coastal economic belt in the revitalization of northeast old industrial base in-depth. This dissertation analyzes the interactive situation of the economic and social development about Liaoning coastal economic with the northeast region in recent years, which digs deeper bilateral cooperation in economy, society and many other areas based on interactive reality, space and industrial advantages, interactive question and constraints of interaction in cooperation . This dissertation provides that we shoud seize the favorable opportunity of the strategy of developing Liaoning coastal economic zone increasing as national strategy,and explore and build a model of further interaction development about coastal economic zone with northeast hinterland. This dissertation provides some countermeasures and proposals of interaction development about coastal economic zone with northeast hinterland lastly.This disseration is made of eight parts. The first part is preface. The thesis set out the background and significance of topics, content and technology route and synthesis research at home and abroad.The second part is the theoretical basis for interactive development. Some related theories are reviewed in this part. The theories of regional interactive development such as the theory of regional economic integration, the theory of regional spatial structure,the comparative advantage theory, theory of interactive about port with hinterland, competitive advantage theory, industrial cluster theory, the symbiotic theory and so on, which are basic theories of the interactive development about Liaoning coastal economic belt with the Northeast hinterland .The third part is the interactive development experience of domestic and international region. A systematic summary of the experience is conducted in this part,and interactive inspiration is gained from the interactive experience. This part points out that the city integration is important regional economic vector. there are one or two leading cities in economic zones or cities integration, and promoting the coordinated development of regional economic interaction through the town of radiation leading role. An overall plan for regional development must be made and an interactive mechanism for regional coordination must be set up and joint meeting of regional economic systems must be set up and enterprises must become the main body in regional interactive development.The fourth part is the interaction analysis. The author analyzes the city flow of cities in the northeast region using the way of city-flow, and points out the contact situation between the cities about coast and the hinterland in the northeast region . At the same time, using the way of SWOT analysis, the author analyzes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of interaction development about Liaoning coastal economic belt with the northeast hinterland and points out that we face both opportunities and challenges, the opportunities outweigh the challenges.The fifth part is the interaction effect analysis and evaluation. Using the logistic model, the author analyzes the correlation between coastal port cargo and GDP of hinterland,and carries out the quantitative analysis and evaluation of interactive benefits between the coastal and hinterland. The author points out that the interaction between the coastal and hinterland is mutual promotion, and interactive changes by one-way to two-way, interactive mode from a single mode (ports and the hinterland) to multi-mode (hybrid) interaction.Part VI is further interactive mode. The author put forward the six models explicitly such as the interactive industry, the interaction of ports with the hinterland, the functional interaction, regional interaction, interaction of elements, infrastructure integration. The interactive industry includes leading industries and characteristics industries, marine industries, modern logistics, tourism, modern financial industry and so on. The further division of labor of port and interaction levels nust be definited, and economic level of the hinterland must be enhanced in interaction about port with the hinterland. A clear functional delineation of coastal areas and hinterland is done and we should strengthen functional interaction about the coastal and hinterland. We should strengthen key regional interaction such as the central city of Liaoning groups and western Liaoning Province Economic Area, Changchun-Jilin city group, Haerbin-Daqing-Qiqihaer city group with coastal zone. We should strengthen interaction of elements of the capital, personnel, projects, information, market of the coastal and hinterland. From the strengthening integration of transport, communication, energy, water resources, environmental protection, this part provides infrastructure integration model about the coastal and hinterland.Part VII is interactive measures. From promoting the overall innovation, setting up an interactive mechanism for regional coordination, bringing into full play the role of the the Bureau of Northeast Revitalization, setting up strategic alliances of the major cities in the northeast,fostering the interests community, playing the role of intermediary organizations such as associations, chambers of commerce,this thesis provides six aspects of countermeasures and proposals of interactive development about the coastal and hinterland.Eighth part is the conclusion and prospect. The author made a summary of the thesis and pointed out the inadequacy of the thesis and future direction.
