According to the development strategy of A Steel Corp, this thesis analysed and evaluated the enterprise’s present compensation system to find out the current problems of optimization design of salary system. It demonstrated the importance and necessity of the optimization design so as to optimize the design of salary system of A Steel Corp.This thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction. It mainly states the background and significance of the topic, the methods of research and the structure of this paper. The second chapter is the summary of compensation management theory. It thoroughly introduced the compensation theory and the theoretical foundation of salary system. It is the main theoretical basis of A steel limited company’s compensation system design. The third chapter is the current situation of A company’s compensation and the analysis of it. This chapter introduces the background, organizational structure, staff profiles, management status and the existing condition of salary in A steel limited company. Based on survey and analysis of the existing salary system of employee satisfaction, it finds the problems existing in A steel limited company salary system and makes the foundation for the next step for the system optimization design. The fourth chapter is the optimization design of A company’s compensation system. Under the guidance of Chapter2, this chapter carries out the optimization design of compensation system combined with the company’s development strategy. It includes the design of salary level and the structural design. The fifth chapter is about the implement of A company’s compensation system optimization and the analysis of the effect. It includes the work we should pay much attetion to in the process of the compensation system optimization and the analysis of the implementation effect.
