To ease the pressure of demand for land and ensure the balanced of land occupation and retrieval, land consolidation comes to the inevitable choice to solve the problem of land use.Accelerating to promote the construction of a new socialist countryside is the Party’s major strategic policy in the new century, during which land reclamation is playing an increasingly important role. In the middle of China, abundant rainfall, warm and humid climate, production and living of the local people is troubled by schistosomiasis commonly known as belly disease, so there are some rural areas in midland of China where the prevalence of schistosomiasis still exists partly. As the land reclamation projects put into practice, the three kinds of benefits it produces-economic、 social and ecological benefits-are widely accepted and concerned by the whole society, especially the land science field.The evaulation of land consolidation benefits is an important task that is hard to be fulfiled through presice and objective quantization.This thesis, based on the investigation of the consolidation benefits of a piece of special land,adopts two methods of the mainstream and makes the evaluation. The difference of the two methods lies in their standardization of the index data:one is to standardize the sample data of similar programs by range transformation;the other is to standardize the data by membership grade function after the experts determine the scores according to the general membership grade of relevant index.This thesis aims to investigate the differences of the index data within these two methods, objective and subjective repectively. Therefore, this study will contribute to the evaluation of land consolidation benefits.At the beginning of this paper, the authors review the history of the land remediation and briefly describe the background to the study. The paper tries to explore and evaluate the overall benefits that the land reclamation produces to the project area and its surrounding areas with quantitative analysis, thus, it firstly presents a relatively objective and comprehensive evaluation unit with the feature of widespread use, establishes hierarchy assessments and index systems, basing on the new socialist countryside construction. Secondly, it integrates the standardized benefits index model and compares the overall benefits of different land reclamation projects. This article exploringly adopts the deviation from average weight-seeking method which is guided by the conception of multi-attribute decision-making to achieve the weights of indexes, and scientificity and maneuverability of the method are validated by four instances.In this paper, to explore new ideas about comprehensive benefit evaluation of land remediation in Schisosomiasis areas while we have to provide a new theory, practical approaches and intellectual support for happiness of the people and the construction of a new socialist countryside in Schisosomiasis areas. Through this study, we can conclude: the construction of a new socialist countryside provides a broad stage for advancing land remediation in Schisosomiasis areas where people are much troubled by Schisosomiasis. At the same time, land remediation work is a booster for the construction of a new socialist countryside in Schisosomiasis areas. To achieve the greatest benefit of this goal, we should broaden horizons, break the inherent thinking, overall planning and rural development of various undertakings, and properly resolve the good relates to the affairs of the people’s vital interests.
