Research On Industrial Layout And Linkage In Yanbian Region

In recent years, Yanbian area as first development region of Chang-Ji-Tu got the support from governments at all levels, economic developed very quickly. The industrial layout is special because of geography and resources advantage. This article selected enterprises above designated size in Yanbian as the study object, based on statistical data and the first-hand information of research and survey, by use of geography, economics and other theories and methods, researched on industrial layout and linkage in Yanbian. The mainly contents of this article for the following three points.Firstly:In this paper, base on the theoretical study of domestic and foreign scholars, first research industrial development situation of Yanbian, included current situation、progress and characteristics under the classification from trade、scale、ownership. The result showed, by the five stages of explora、rapid、steadily、speed up、strategic opportunity, Yanbian industrial went into Industrialization later stage. It had four pillar industry of forest products、food、medicine、 energy and mineral resources. This trades were mainly resources industry, and High technical content, high value-added industry is not developed; the number of small firms was much, by contrast, large firms were few, but all were State-owned enterprises. Foreign-funded enterprise use rich resources and cheap labour to make more profits. The investment motivation was resource and labour to pursue.Secondly:research on the date from the yare of1990,2000,2011, showed that industrial scale was increased, one type of development area was only Yanji inl990, Yanji、Dunhua in2000, Yanji、Dunhua、Hunchun in2011;the industrial area was from dispersion to agglomeration; eight trades was more balanced; firms moved to economic and technological development zone.Thirdly:On the questionnaire circulated to empirical research the industrial linkage and regional economic development in Yanbian area. The result showed, the linkage of the buy area of raw material and component: resource-based industry include food、forest products、energy and mineral resources, bought the raw from Yanbian; on the contrary, Labour intensive concentrated the other area except Yanbian. The linkage of product sold: the percentage of selling to nationwide was increased, export-oriented enterprises included forest products, food, textile and garment, sold the products to resource scarcity and expensive labor areas as Korea and Japan. The linkage of outsourcing:the first kind was outsourcing for other company, this kind was mainly food, medicine, equipment manufacturing, textile and garment, machinery and electronics. Most of consignable company landed on Yanbian, was independent business, not continue to outsource. The second kind was making other company outsourced, this kind was electronic, textile and garment, they sold the products to foreign and use the cheap labour in the lower of industrial chain. The linkage of service:long-distance transport selected Yanbian Logistics, short-distance transport depended on truck of this company. The company owned research and development department within the company, formed "research-production-sales" the integration of production chain. The services for enterprise operation depended on internal company about maintenance, accountancy and low. The all company borrowed money from bank in Yanbian. Based on the above studies, propose some questions and solutions of industrial layout and linkage on the regional sustainable economic development in Yanbian area.
