Recently, employee stress and its result are focusing on by both ma nager and employee. We have to attach more importance to this problem especially when we saw the news that the employees of company Huawei and Fushikang suicided. Employee burnout is the result variable for the employee stress. The three features of burnout identified are: emotional exhaustion, cynicism and lack of personal accomplishment. Burnout can reduce the efficiency of both individuals and the organization, therefore many researchers study the intervention to reduce the burnout. By literature review, we found that less research study the burnout in the angle of individual. For this reason, we choose positive affectivity and coping style as the moderating variable of the relationship between employee stress and burnout.Based on the employee stress and burnout theories, through the methods of literature research and questionnaire, we do research. The participants are some employees who were born after 1990.We choose them for two reasons: first, many papers proved that they have high level of stress and burnout; second, feasibility of collecting the data is high because they are my classmates in high school and university. After collecting the data,we analysis them by the software SPSS 20.0.Through the data analysis, we can conclude: new recruits have high level of stress and burnout, both individuals and organization should pay attention to this problem and find the right intervention; positive affectivity can moderate the relationship between employee stress and burnout, the employees who are optimistic and confident have low level of burnout; the coping style can moderate the relationship between employee stress and burnout, positive style can reduce the level of burnout. Therefore, the managers and employees should try their best together, choose the optimistic and confident personality as well as positive coping style. Employee should participate the psychological health training and learn the knowledge of the right attitude and action to reduce the level of stress and burnout.
