Recently, there is a burst development of communication industry in China. Withcoming of4G, all communication vendors build, enhance and develop communicationinfrastructure to elevate itself competition. And this project is very important andmerged in each area and process in company. Project of enchantment infrastructureof commutation network involves huge network, complex technology, high risk andshort period. It needs each of department’s colleagues working together to schedule,cooperate control the risk to achieve the target. So project management of enhancingcommunication network has its special characters and has been studied as new topic inproject management.To ensure unblocking communication between customers and high requirement ofsecurity of network structure, network enhancement needs adjust infrastructure business,so this project focuses on process controlling and risk management. This thesis is basedon the project of transmission enhancement in Chengdu CMCC, and through processingcontrolling and risk management analysis on this project, the author provides concretemanagement/controlling methods. Here are:1. Introduction elemental theories used in this project, for example, project scopemanagement, project time management, project risk management.2. Analysis of CMCC’s current infrastructure, management and maintenanceorganization structure, technology background, and analysis of the problems andreasons3. Introduction this project’s scope management and time management. UsingWBS method to do scope analysis for CMCC and using PDM network processing chartto schedule project’s tasks, then finding out the critical path in this project.4. Finding out the effect factors in this project, and studying the method forcontrolling management in different phases in this project. Creating adaptablemanagement structure and method to cooperation with the3rd part vendors.5. According to the characters of this project, using the theories introduced above,providing concrete management and maintenance methods. Through these methods that based on the project management theories, we haveindeed improved the management level and efficiency in CMCC’s enhancementnetwork project.
