Land use change survey and dynamic monitoring is the most important business of land resources management. This work has the following features, i.e. extensive contents, timeliness, and high fidelity. Application of remote sensing technique in land use dynamic monitoring has been a hot research topic in recent years. Remote sensing technique has such merits as wide coverage, high scientific and technological content, powerful function, speedy information gain and rich spatial information. It can help to reduce survey and monitoring cost and raise efficiency. Meanwhile, it can also reflect the status quo of the land use real-timely, quickly and efficiently, and make sure the results are accurate and feasible. Remote sensing data is characterized by multi-temporal, high resolution. Based on this reason, remote sensing technique can be put into practice in land use dynamic monitoring scientifically and accurately, with the function of real-time photographic interpretation and assistant decision making. In this paper, application of remote sensing image in the land use survey and dynamic monitoring was studied, in view of the annual land use change survey and dynamic monitoring. Remote sensing image preprocessing was conducted firstly, and then image fusion was performed based on enhancement for remote sensing images. Moreover, land use change information was automatic and accurate extracted by using computer technology, in light of the requirements of land use survey and dynamic monitoring, thereby dynamic measure of land use change was accomplished. Remote sensing technique, can be get rid of the drawbacks such as bad error, high charges and large workload in previous work of land use change survey, it plays a positive role in the work efficiency and work quality improvement of land resource management.
