Study On The Development Of Fujian Information Industry Cluster

With the advent of knowledge economy era, information industry has touched all parts of social production and life, at the same time, the economic development has more and more high demands on information industry. Based on the original development advantages, Fujian information industry clusters continuously optimize and upgrade which now become the important information industry cluster developmental positions in China. Many large information industry clusters develop rapidly, the core competitiveness of the clusters upgrade continually and the deep tie-in of Fujian and Taiwan information industry are all the performances of Fujian information industry cluster’s significant achievements. However, issues of peripheral industries’lagging behind, innovation and R&D capability’s weak, unreasonable utilizing of foreign capital and the difficulties of introducing talents have become increasingly prominent. The bottlenecks of cluster’s development meet urgently. Therefore, this thesis uses various research and analysis methods including literature research method, static and dynamic analysis method and comparative research method. And based on the industrial cluster theory, industrial organization theory and the theory of information economics, this thesis constructs the theoretical framework on the development of information industry cluster in Fujian province. On this basis, this thesis points out the achievements, the problems and the causes of the problems based on the development status of Fujian information industry clusters. Finally, by drawing lessons from the domestic and foreign information industry clusters, the thesis analyses and summarizes some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of Fujian information industry clusters.
