China is a populous country, also a major agricultural country. At present, China hasentered a new historical period of building a moderately prosperous society. However, dueto the urban-rural dual system structure, China’s urban and rural areas in all aspects are verydifferent. So, in the process of building a moderately prosperous society, attention to ruralareas, to support agricultural development, to improve the quality of life of rural residents,is consistent with the requirements of the times. But to build this society in rural areas,ultimately, is to improve the quality of life of rural residents to a high level of satisfactionwith their own quality of life. The article is based on this background, selected HenanProvince as a research site, to study on quality of life satisfaction of rural residents. Tounderstand the quality of life satisfaction of rural residents in China, and to identify themain influencing factors in order to improve the quality of life of rural residents satisfaction,thus speeding up the pace of building a moderately prosperous society in China’s ruralareas.This paper selected6representative towns and villages in Huixian,Henan Province. Wegot the data through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews with rural residentswho surveyed. The surveys were distributed220copies of the questionnaire.220questionaires were regained, in which203were valid. Responses to the questionnairedata, using descriptive statistical methods, the ordered Probit model for data processing withSPSS17.0statistical software, to measure the overall and indicators level of satisfaction ofthe quality of life of rural residents in Henan Province.This paper came to the following conclusions:(1) The quality of life of rural residentshave higher satisfaction in Henan Province;(2) In the secondary indicators which we settingof rural residents quality of life satisfaction, satisfaction with the children’s current situationof the highest, the income situation of the lowest;(3) The two most significant factors whichaffected the satisfaction are villages away from the county’s distance and family life, inaddition, gender, whether the agricultural laborers or not, the evaluation of the villagecadres, the national agricultural subsidies, income, living, traffic, and medical conditions also affect;(4) Age, education level, marital status, cultural and recreational life andpensions variables did not significantly affect the quality of life of rural residentssatisfaction.
