Research On Vegetable Tour Development In Shouguang City

Experience tourism is a new form of tourism experience economic background withthe improvement of people’s hierarchy of needs. In this context, the eco-agricultural tourismushered in leaps and bounds. As a new branch of agricultural tourism, vegetable tourism isalready underway in Shouguang City which is the vegetable town, and has achieved goodeconomic and social benefits. The development of vegetable tourism is a problem which isneed to be faced and solved. As a vegetable town of China, how to develop and improve thevegetable tourism of Shouguang City is becoming fairly representative and groundbreaking.The objective of this paper is to investigate the development of vegetables inShouguang City tours in combination of experience economy and walks on the basis ofsummarizing the research at home and abroad by the method of combining theory andpractice. In this paper, the status of rural tourism at home and abroad was elaborated, andhow the generation of tours impact the traditional tourism was analyzed. Both theachievement and problems of vegetable tours in Shouguang City were summarized.Furthermore, the concept of the development of vegetable experiential tours was proposedand the development direction of the vegetable tourism was concluded and the experiencetravel model was attempted in innovation.According to the meaning of experience tourism and the change of markets, the mainproblem of experiential vegetable tourism was the lacking of product value after analyzingrelevant researches combining with the development of vegetable tourism.At this stage, the vegetable travel mode can not meet the need of tourists, because oflacking the systematic theoretical guidance, the need of tourists changed and thedevelopment of tour, wich means developing the vegetable experience tour is becoming anecessity. In the end,both the advantages and problems of the vegetable experience tourwere systematically discussed, and provided good advices on scenic development at bothmacro-and micro-level from support of the government to scenic innovation.This paper is based on the experience economy and tours, and try to propose a newway to optimizing and improving the vegetable tourism in Shouguang City which ismeaningful to the development of the vegetable tourism and give prominence to the culture,entertainment, and local characteristic.Through the vegetable experiential tours, a new way, it is be favorable to to improve the grade of the existing vegetable tourism, expand thetourist market, extend the residence time of the tourists and enhance the tourists’ loyalty,which will result in a higher economic benefit. Furthermore, it will promote the ruraleconomic growth, protect the ecological environment, reasonable to maintain thecharacteristics of the rural style, beautify the rural environment which is meaningful to thenew rural construction.
