Research On The Influencing Factors Of The Development Of Hainan Natural Rubber Processing Industry

Scaled cultivation of natural rubber in Hainan province was initiated from the founding of People’s Republic of China, after development of more than half a century, it has grown up into an advantageous characteristic industry as well as a significant component of Hainan province’s tropical agriculture. Natural rubber industry has become the pillar industry of Hainan province, one of the three largest natural rubber production bases, in terms of competition power, business scope, overall benefit, operating level and amount of workforce. Natural rubber processing industry, mainly consists of preliminary and deep processing, is an indispensible component and key process of the natural rubber industry, The capability of processing not only affect the value realization of natural rubber and industry management effectiveness, but also the product quality and material consumption.After years of development, Hainan province was erected with various natural rubber processing enterprises with different scales, as the industry can take advantage of the agricultural resource, it become an important way to enhance the farmers’ income and accommodate the reluctant workforce, as well it significantly contributed to the extending of rubber industry line, the appreciation level of natural rubber industry and consequently contributed to the mitigation of "Three dimensional rural issues". Nevertheless, the whole industry is still in the stage of preliminary process which disadvantage by low process level, heavy pollution, short value chain, low added value and technology, consequently handicap the all-round and sustainable development of the rubber industry.This paper takes the natural rubber process industry as a study sample, debrief its current development situation, which mainly consist of producing capacity, development milestone, processing capacity and main categories of products, then after in aspects of rubber producing, material sourcing, supply and demand, processing technology, policy and three elements of producing as well combined with some practical case to analyze the influencing factors, finally make an empirical analysis by principal component analysis method using SPSS software. Three solutions were figured out to the current situation which provides guidance and reference to the supply security and policy proposing:improving the external environment, speeding up the restructure and industry layout planning to build well-known brand, enforcing the constructing of human resource to serve the industry. This paper to some extend explored the influencing factors of the industry, as the limited by narrow study scope, not deep investigation, small sampling and quality analysis method; there are still many defects in the conclusion. In the afterward study, more efforts will put on expanding the study scope, incorporating in more quantity index, using factor analysis method to come to more practical influencing factors.
