The Research On Rizhao Port Development In The Ports Competitive State

Port is a traffic facility,also is an important economic growth pole of the port city andeconomic hinterland. Rizhao Port is a rising star on the Chinese coastal, its throughput hasrisen every year, with a good harbor conditions and location advantages, and now has brokenthe200million tons, it is one of10the largest port in China. Along with the ShandongPeninsula Blue Economic Circle and the Lunan economic zone, Rizhao Port plays anincreasingly important role to the the Lunan economy with the excellent developmentopportunities. However, the intensive competition of Rizhao Port has become increasinglyevident with the neighboring ports. Rizhao Port need continue todevelop itself, it mustrecognize the current state of competition and its own port advantages, weaknesses、opportunities and challenges, in order to make the port sustainable development, Rizhao Portcombines with their own advantages and dislocate the surrounding development.In this paper,We take the perspective of competition with ports to analyze Rizhao Port,firstly analyze port competition background, issues, concepts and theories, and on this basis isthe Rizhao Port development advantages and disadvantages, and the face of opportunities andchallenges.Secondly, we use the factor analysis to evaluate and compare Rizhao Port in the nationalport competitiveness. Built the competition index system, collect relevant data, use the factoranalysis to make a quantitative evaluation of the competitiveness of the Rizhao port, andanalyze of the results of the evaluation.Finally,We advice the Rizhao port"double coordinated development strategy".On the onehand,the "double-coordination" is proposed to focus the Rizhao City and the Rizhao port as awhole system on the development Interactively,in order to form the development model;Onthe other hand,the second coordinated is forming the perspective of the development andcompetition between ports on the Rizhao Port,and develop in a dislocation way in order toform the port sustainable development and achieve effectively cooperation and healthycompetition between ports.
