The society has developed into the information time. China is taking a new path ofindustrializationwith its own characteristics, which is combining the informationtechnology with industrialization. China is a large industrial country, themanufacturing industry occupy a pivotal position in the industrial system, and how touse various of means including information technology to reform the traditionalmanufacturing enterprises is the question that must be considered on the waytoChina’s modernization. The reasonable evaluation of manufacturing enterprises’informationization level is an important precondition for them to understand thecurrent situation. Only by grasp the process of informationization enterprises can risethe correct information strategy.So the research on the evaluation ofinformationization become an important aspect of the informationization researchfield.This article begins the research from the concept of information、 IT andinformationization. Then it discusses the present condition and existing problems ofmanufacturing enterprisesreferring to the questionnaire and other materials. Bystudying the definition of informationization, this article clears the relationshipbetween IT and informationization, and probe the influence of informationization onthe operation and management efficiency. After macro and micro environmentalresearch, this article establishes an evaluating index system by scientific methods.Analytic hierarchy process,Fuzzy comprehensive evaluating and SEM(Structuralequation modeling)methods are used to quantify the index and fix the weightcoefficient. On the basis of the outcome of the evaluation, this article proposes somestrategies to give directions to the informationization transformation in order to copewith the fierce marketing competition. Radar map is a tool of competitive strengthanalysis. This article discussesthe weakness of informationization by radar map;offers some measures to mend the short slabs of manufacturing enterprises duringtheir process of informationization. At last, a manufacturing enterprise named SanlingElevator Corporation is investigated to prove the informationization theory of thisarticle.This article follows the research idea of pinpointing the problems, analyzing theproblems, dealing with problems and results validation. This article try to giveassistance to the informationization evaluate and decision by the research ofevaluating index system.
