Study On Optimizing Organization And Decision-making Based On Supply Chain Process Of A Telecom Equipment Company

Since Ford Motor Company produced their car on assemblyline, the division of labor is continuously specialized andfunctional organization structure becomes more common. Butwith growing scale of enterprise and increasing competition inthe market, the era of No matter what color the customer want,we only produce the black is gone, the customer has becomethe protagonist of the market. Functional organization s poorcoordination and poor adaptability have become increasinglyapparent, many companies have suffered big company disease,and the process organization gives a new way to solve theseproblems.This thesis stated a mechanism of optimizing organizationbased process in functional organization. This paper is dividedinto the following sections. The first part discussed thenecessity of process organization optimization by analyzingthe market environment. The second part discussed therelationship between process management and functionalmanagement and analyzed their strengths and weaknesses. Thispart analyzed the characteristics of whole organizationdevelopment history, and then discussed the method of processorganization evaluation and process design method. The thirdpart analyzed the necessities of process optimization in telecom industry, and then found the existing problems of Acompany.In the fourth part, the process optimization is dividedinto three steps, the paper study on constructing strong matrixorganization structure to improve power of process managementdepartment, then through construction of core processes todrive enterprise shift to process-based organization, thenreconstructed the organizational structure of supply chainthrough process-oriented organization designing.The paper analyzed the order of organization based onstructure entropy model and made decision by AHP and expertinvestigation method instead of decision making by supervisor,this method is more efficient and professional, and the methodis universal. Finally, the paper discussed the shortage inorganization assessment and some problem in processoptimization for follow up study.
