Research On Allocation Of Agricultural Production Factors In Yunnan

Accelerating the transformation of agricultural development mode is the only waywhich must be passed of the development of modern agriculture, and improving the overallagricultural capacity is the priority among the transformation of agricultural development.Allocation of agricultural production factors is the key to improving the overall agriculturalcapacity. This article uses the data envelopment analysis method. First, it calculatesMalmquist total factor productivity of Yunnan province and regions between1991and2002, and analyzes value decomposition of Malmquist total factor productivity concretely.And then, it analyzes some relevant information of agricultural production factorsallocation in Yunnan. This information includes production efficiency, redundancy of inputand shortage of output. In particular, it studies on allocation of agricultural productionfactors within the region of Yunnan province in2011. Finally, it makes the analysis ofinfluencing factors about allocation of agricultural production factors in Yunnan, and thisprocess is achieved through Tobit model. The basic conclusion is:(1) Efficiency ofagricultural production has differences between regions of Yunnan province, andtechnology progress is the main influence factors.(2)Efficiency of agricultural productionfactors allocation is rising steadily in Yunnan.(3) In parts of Yunnan province, allocation ofagricultural production factors needs to be optimized.(4)The influence factors o aboutefficiency of agricultural production factors allocation are various in Yunnan province.Against the above point of view, it combines the reality of agricultural production inYunnan province, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions.The conclusion of the article is following: first, increasing investment in agriculturalscience and technology, and accelerating the transformation of agricultural developmentmode. Second, strengthening agricultural infrastructure construction, and accelerating thestructural adjustment of agricultural production. Third, accelerating circulation of the land,and realizing the agricultural scale management in Yunnan province. Fourth, enhancinginvestment in rural education, and quickening the transfer of rural surplus labor. Fifth, cultivating rural production factors market actively, and promoting the efficient allocationof production factors. These corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions want to offerreference to improving the efficiency of agricultural resources in Yunnan province.
