In aword，China’s urbanization problem is mainly to solve the problem of land-lostfarmers. Urbanization in order to improve the living standards of people, but theChinese social management mechanism and the imperfect of land-lost farmers, in theface of the status quo of China’s urbanization, more and more land-lost farmers intothe social vulnerable groups, and the emergence of this group will hinder the stabledevelopment of social economy in China. The land-lost farmers problem can besolved effectively, the key is whether the land-lost farmers to obtain employmentsmoothly. In other words, peasant problem is the employment problem, employmentis vital to people’s livelihood. This article is in Yunnan province as an example tostudy, because of the Yunnan itself and historical reasons, the economic developmentof Yunnan far behind more developed regions, also amounted to less than the national average education condition, many farmers more traditional life way, thoughtmore conservative. Land-lost farmers’ employment levels in Yunnan province,therefore, the analysis and research of the evaluation system, has certain socialsignificance and practical significance.In this paper, on the basis of consulting a large number of literature, and analysesthe employment situation of the farmers in Yunnan. The results show that the overallemployment, employment quality is poorer, the severe employment situation. Inempirical research part, this article through to the Kunming high-tech developmentzone, Majinpu’ street land-lost farmers employment has carried on the empiricalanalysis, found the reason of difficult employment of the land-losing farmers havetheir own cultural level main reason, the reason of skills training, the reasons ofnational policy, and the cause of social economic environment. For this reason, basedon the related literatures, the review of domestic and foreign scholars study ofland-lost farmers employment levels and evaluation method, the definition ofland-lost farmers, land-lost farmers’ social security problem, land expropriationcompensation system and national policy, security and other issues, on the basis ofevaluation system for the land-lost farmers employment level made a theoretical basis.Through Kunming high-tech development zone, Majinpu’ street field survey analysis,the employment problem of the farmers in the first place in the application, andland-lost farmers employment related theoretical constructs the evaluation indexsystem of land-lost farmers employment levels, according to Kunming high-techdevelopment zone, Majinpu’ street survey results to verify the employment levelevaluation indexes at all levels of the farmers is verified.
