China has entered the ranks of middle-income countries, but the development isuneven, particularly the urban-rural gap.Gap means potential,the biggest potential ishidden in the gap between urban and rural areas."We promote urbanization,industrialization is the way to go, information, urbanization, agricultural modernizationsimultaneous development of the road, urbanization is the historic task of China’smodernization, but also where the greatest potential for expanding domestic demand,should actively guide the healthy development of urbanization."Meanwhile, theChinese farmers’ land rights exist fuzzy, developmental disabilities and the blind tocontain household registration system, such as making the city in promotingurbanization process.Promote the process of urbanization will inevitably lead to separation of thefarmers and land, and then the problem of land-lost peasants become the biggestobstacle of urbanization construction. In the context of building a harmonious society,land-lost peasants become one of the center social concerned problems.Land-lostpeasants as the process of urbanization in vulnerable populations, urbanization has didnot give land-lost farmers the same development opportunities as farmers have lost thefoundation of survival and development, they cannot enjoy the corresponding urbanpublic social security system. Meanwhile the leading role of the government in theprocess of urbanization is largely influenced solve the problem of land-lost peasants.Thus the problem of landless peasants has become an important issue currently facingof China’s development.Based on current research issues for the land-lost peasants, through investigation inQichun caohe town,Hubei, living conditions have on the development of small towns incentral region characterized land-lost peasants of caohe town were compared before and after, combined with suburban cities land-lost peasants research, put forwardconstructive ideas. On the one hand as a supplement to the current and medium-sizedcities in the eastern region for the land-lost peasants research; also provide a referencefor the central and western regions to promote urbanization.
