Currently, the research about multidimensional poverty is gradually going to theperfect theory. However, when we set the weights of multidimensional poverty index,we just give them the same number. The experts criticized the same weightcalculation method.In this paper, we make the human poverty index as a framework and combinedthe surviving and development poverty. In accordance with the scientific, feasibility,detailed, comprehensive and other indicators, we selected the principles includingrevenues, expenses, education and health, population quality, developmentenvironment.The five principles has19indicators for the study.In this paper,wechoose DEMATEL and Entropy Weight Method to evaluate the use ofmultidimensional poverty indicators.The two methods is a combination of subjectiveweighting method and objective weighting method.DEMATEL method is a subjective weighting method.And the advantage of thismethod is intuitive, broad applicability, reliability models and large data capacity;Entropy method is an objective weighting method. And the advantage of this methodis high precision, adaptability, objective, and better able to interpret the obtainedresults. The combination of subjective and objective empowerment can both fullyreflect the awareness of policy makers and deal with known information objectively.Yunnan Province has the the largest poverty area,the most poor people and thedeepest levels of poverty.The study of multidimensional poverty with subjective andobjective weighting method can consider the fact and a lot of poverty statistics assupport. In addition, the paper in the choice of dimensions, taking into account theindividual’s vulnerability and poor long-term, repetitive, so starting from thedevelopment poverty, chose these three dimensions of education and health,population quality and development environment, resulting to identifying the intrinsicdriving force of poverty. Based on the studying of Yunnan multidimensional poverty index,we found thatincome and expenses continue to play an important role in multidimensionalpoverty.At the same time, the development of the poor as a whole can not beunderestimated. In addition, from the study of this paper, we also learned that,although the government’s poverty alleviation efforts are constantly increasing, butthere is a higher poverty reduction in the efficiency of escape. To this end, theproposes of this paper are: to increase funds for poverty alleviation supervision,building the performance evaluation mechanism about government’s rural poverty;based on the social security system’s the further establishing and improving, thedirection of poverty alleviation in poor areas is creating environment for development,industrial upgrading and the ability of the poor people’s own development.
