The Economic Analysis And Development Strategy Of Vehicle’s Reverse Logistics

With the rapid development of automobile industry in our country, the increasingownership and popularity of car has brought many benefits,but at the same time,it putforword a challenge to the ecological environment. Therefore, the vehicle’s reverselogistics gaind more and more recognition, especially the issues of the recycling ofscrap vehicle and the processing of useless and old accessory, which is the importantfactors to affect the personal safety and environmental protection. However, comparedto the vehicle, the relative useful life time of the accessory is more longer. The carscrapping issues arising from the end of the product life cycle,while the accessoriesreplacement from vehicle repair and maintenance is associated with the use of theproduct. The auto industry will be based on the reverse logistics in the future, therecycling concept of the replacement and waste products will be through the wholecycle from the beginning of designing to the end of the car’s useful lifetime, and toachieve the competition advantage of enterprise survival.This paper will analysis and discusse the the vehicle’s reverse logistics of Chinain-depth, and try to analysis the economy of car recycling which based on the data ofthe specific recycling requirement of European Union End-of-life Vehicle(ELV), and toexplore the reference of domestic development, furtherly it presents according countermeasures and suggestions of the development of the vehicle’s reverse logistics for ourcountry.This paper elaborates the research background, purpose, significance, reverselogistics and the theoretical knowledge of the vehicle’s reverse logistics, points out thecauses and studies the necessity and the value of recycling of the vehicle’s reverselogistics. This paper focuses on the present status of researching and development inChina and abroad, introduces the domestic and foreign related laws and regulations.Base on the ELV, analysis of location selection problem despite the recovery abilities ofrecycling facilities in the network design of the vehicle’s reverse logistics, discusses theissus of recycling facility capacity on the basis of the analysis of location issue, bases onthe specific International Dismantling Information System to provide the relevant datamake in automobile recycling activities associated with recycling economy analysis,explores the domestic economic feasibility. Depending on the overall environment andrequirements, this paper proposes the development strategies and proposals on themotivation mechanism of our vehicle’s reverse logistics from the three aspects ofelevant government department responsibility, automobile manufacturer responsibilityand consumer responsibility, and gives advices for the effective implementation of thevehicle’s reverse logistics according to different automobile material to put forward thecorresponding development strategy in our country.
