Research On The Operating And Management Of Beilun Modern International Logistics Park

In recent years, with rapid development of the logistics parks in China, many localgovernments across the country have enthusiasm to constructing logistics parks, as well as Ningbo.Beilun district where the Ningbo Port located has good advantages in industry, transportation andpolicy. And because of these advantages many logistics enterprises and recourses are gathered here.Many logistics parks appeared with the rapid development of logistics industry. And thegovernment has built the Beilun modern international logistics park in2009. After several years’development, the park is already have a certain scale. But there are also many urgent problems,especially of the uncertainty of the future development must be solved. In this context, we use therelated theory knowledge, combined with the current situation and experience of the logistics parkat home and aboard, as well as the current development of logistics industry in Ningbo, to do theresearch on the Operating and Management of Beilun Modern International Logistics Park, havestrong realistic and pThis paper starts from the development of the logistics park to comb the concept,classification and function of the logistics park and researches the management of the logistics parkdeeply in theories of industry cluster theory, value chain theory, the third party logisticstheory and supply chain management theory. Based on the theory study，this paperanalyses the development status and existing issues of Beilun Modern International Logistics Park,and combining with the experience of the construction and operation in foreign advanced logisticspark, we can concludes the elements for a park in good running.In the future, the subject of the operation of the Beilun Modern International Logistics Parkwill be changed by positioning and role changing and there are some suggestions for parkoperation in future in some ways of value chain, function extension of the park and park’s supportpolicy.
