Ship manufacturing industry in China has made rapid progress in recent years, but thelow shipbuilding management level has been restricted its further development, and agileshipbuilding put forward higher request to our ship manufacturing management level,therefore, how to improve ship agile manufacturing project management level is particularlyimportant. Schedule management is one of the most important part of ship manufacturingproject management, aiming at the situation of the ship agile manufacturing project schedulemanagement, this paper analyzes the shortages of the traditional project managementmethods in the ship agile manufacturing project management, and puts forward the systemdynamics to study ship agile manufacturing project schedule management.By introducing the basic principle of system dynamics and the characteristics of shipagile manufacturing project, it is concluded that using system dynamics to study ship agilemanufacturing project schedule management is feasible and superior. The paper analyzes themodern ship agile project schedule management process, and defines the main factors ofinfluencing ship manufacturing schedule, and analyzes their mutual relationship andmultiple feedback loops composed of them using system dynamics, then the causal loopdiagram of ship agile manufacturing project schedule management system is obtained, thenthe paper finds more system variables, and determines their quantitative relationship, finally,the system dynamics model of ship agile manufacturing project schedule management ofChina is established.In order to improve the practicality of the model, and make the model satisfy the logicalrelationship of the manufacturing tasks and all kinds of resource constraint in shipmanufacturing process, this paper uses the idea of critical chain, and puts forward a heuristicalgorithm ahout how to sort the ship manufacturing tasks, then it is integrated with thesystem dynamics model by the correlated variables, it is proved that the introduction ofcritical chain can make the model more practical through the analysis of an example.Finally, based on a real ship manufacturing project, the model is simulated by vensim.First of all, it is verified that the model is more accurate in the ship agile manufacturingproject progress plan, compared with the critical path method, and then the model issimulated by all sorts of schedule control strategies, which show that the model can offersall kinds of effective progress control strategy information to the ship agile manufacturingproject schedule managers, and help them to determine the rational and effective schedule control measures quickly and accurately, and realize the dynamic control of the ship agilemanufacturing project schedule, it is helped to improve the level of our ship agilemanufacturing project schedule management.
