During project management,how to complete the project punctually and reach project target,are the ideal goal of every project manager.But in the actual project operation,the project delay has been occurred occasionally.The reasonable arrangement,control and optimization of schedule have become an important factor in the success of project management.So it is very necessary to discuss the project schedule management.W medical device company was established in 1980s,started from OEM business.Low barriers to entry,relying on cheap labor and low profits disadvantages exist in OEM enterprise,with China in the WTO protection period expires,China's medical industry reform promotes,W medical device company,will face more intense competition from domestic and international market.How to use less time,develop much innovated products,and seize first market opportunities,have become the target of all enterprises.In such case,strengthening the project management has become an inevitable choice.The project management has a direct impact on the survival and development of enterprises."To Gain Benefit from Management" has become a topic in front of the enterprise.In this paper,based on PM knowledge,the author has used survey method,combined qualitative and quantitative analysis method,taken GK project schedule management as research object,focuses on the schedule delay issue of GK project,analyzed from aspects of schedule plan,in process control,and influencing factors,seeking the mismanagement root cause and provide improvement suggestions;also through the application effect comparison of Critical Path Method&Critical Chain Method,pointed out that Critical Chain method is more suitable for projects with limited resources.By adding buffer,it can better manage the safety time,more suitable for Multiple-Stream Project with tight delivery date.Through this study,we hope the summarized the experience and lessons could instruct our future similar projects' management.Also the research findings of this paper,has great practical significance of lifting overall management level of W company.It also adapts to the time background,responding to the call of the country's reform.It is a specific practice of supply-side structural reform.In some extent,project schedule delay is common problem in China's Medical device companies and OEM enterprises,so the research results of this paper not only have great significance for the project management improvement of W company,but also for other China enterprises which have similar issues.It can help to enhance the management level,explore business model,and also have some guidance and reference significance.
