| With the realization of surplus rural labor migrant farm employment, the cityintegration problem of mobile population become an important concern for scholarsand the government.The domestic researches show that the inflow of mobilepopulation bring more than30%economic contribution rate. However, researchindicates that with the implementation of the family planning policy, the populationreproduction pattern has begun to enter the low growth period, so there is no longer anet increase of labor force from the rural areas by2015. It is impossible for the city toget a sustainable development of economy just by the continuous transfer of laborforce. So the city integration of the mobile population will be an important engine forthe sustainable development of China’s economy, especially for the undevelopedareas.The research object of this paper is the city integration of the mobilepopulation.Using the the results of a survey in Yunnan Province,this paper firstmeasure the level of the city integration of the mobile population and find that helevel of the city integration in Yunnan Province is68.52%, and they have a differentperformance in the four dimensions of the measurement system;then different agegroups of the mobile population have a different performance in a samedimensions,such as Language or the method of information acquisition and soon.Then the paper discusses the influence of the city integration with the SEMmodel.The conclusion is the process of the city integration is complex and eachdimension has a different impact on the overall system. Comparing with the otherdimensions, the mental wish has a far-reaching influence on the overall system. Also,the mental wish act as a middleman in the measurement system.From the discussion of the paper, we should realize that if we want to raise thelevel of the city integration of the mobile population,we should pay close attention tothe dimensions.Only by doing so,could we make some effective measure to alleviate even solve this problem. |
