Research On The Level Of Urban Housing Security In Hebei Province

In recent years, with the rapid development of real estate industry, most of the urbanhousing prices are high in China and far more than the average purchasing power of urbanresidents, bringing about a series of negative problems in housing market that it is difficult tobuy a house and the life of urban residents is a heavy burden. Therefore, how to meet basicneed for housing of urban residents becomes a focus of livelihood issues. In order to ensurethe housing needs of urban residents, the government established the housing guaranteesystem, including the institution of housing accumulation fund, the institution of affordablehousing and the institution of low-cost housing. From the construction of the government andthe effect to solve the problems of housing, it has made some achievements. However, due tothe housing construction started late in China and the development of housing security systemis slow, the level of current housing security can not meet all the housing needs of low-incomepeople, the level of housing security of urban residents in China needs to be improved.In this paper, we measured the level of housing security of urban residents in Hebeiprovince, and compared the result with that of the whole nation, adjacent area and developedarea. We can draw a conclusion: The level of housing security is low in Hebei province, andthe investment of housing construction is insufficient, it can not meet the housing needs oflow-income people. On this basis, this paper analyzed factors of influencing the level ofhousing security of urban residents in Hebei province, respectively from the supply capacityof housing security of the government, the housing needs of urban residents and the housinginvestment of the government, and put forward some policy suggestions to fatherly improvethe level of housing security of urban residents in Hebei province.
