Research On Business Model Innovation Of The E-commerce Enterprises Integrated With QFD And TRIZ

As the establishment and development of network economy, the correct selection and application of business model had become a fundamental way for enterprises to establish competitive advantage. First, under the E-commerce environment, a company has more choices in the business model. A lot of new business models are emerging, which makes the battle for business model between enterprises become the focus of competition. Second, a company must understand their business model if they want to develop strategy effectively. As a result, business model innovation has become the original trigger point of all kinds of innovation in enterprises. Therefore, business model innovation has become a key research on both of theoretical and practical levels in network economy era.For business model innovation, domestic and foreign scholars have carried out a systematic research, which involves the motivation, elements and characteristics of the business model innovation. However, the general approach for business model innovation is still in the theoretical exploration stage and does not form a systematic general methodology. Therefore it is lack of operability.This paper presents a model which integrated QFD and TRIZ for business model innovation, the model’s goal is to avoid the randomness and blindness of business model innovation design, thus ensuring the development of the E-commerce enterprises keep sustained and healthy. The model includes two key parts:the QFD problem analysis and the TRIZ problem solving. In this paper, the main work is as follows:1. This paper systematically reviewed the various periods of research on business model innovation. On this basis, this paper takes the current business model innovation methods into three categories. Through the analysis of various types of business model innovation method, the paper pointed out that the general method is worth to study because it can produce versatile innovative solutions. In addition, for the sake of the success of the business model innovation, business model innovation should pay more attention to the needs of customers.2. By comparing the QFD and TRIZ, if they are organically integrated and play their strengths, they will contribute to achieve the business model innovation. Therefore, this paper established a model which integrated QFD and TRIZ for business model innovation. Firstly, the model uses QFD to find the direction of improvement and the bottleneck of the system. Next, the model uses the rich set of TRIZ’s tools to solve the problem of business model innovation in a creative way. TRIZ summed up a set of technique tools and methods to solving problems, it constrained the search space of innovation solutions by the structured method and under the guidance of the IFR, it can help designer to obtain satisfactory innovation solutions as soon as possible.3. In order to illustrate the problem and clarify the method, in this paper, the proposed method has been applied to study. It takes Suning as a case, in accordance with problem analyzing, problem solving and trend forecasting to innovative the business model. It has proved that this model is effective and feasible.
