Development Of Chongqing Tourism Industry And Cultural Industry Convergence

Since the nineteen seventies, the development of information technology andInternet promote the industrial convergence, and the phenomenon of industryconvergence spread quickly from the information and communication industry to thefinancial industry, energy industry and other industry. To correctly understand andrealize the integration of tourism and cultural industry, is not only an effective way tobreak the bottleneck of the development of the tourism industry which result fromgeographical constraints、resource constraints、environmental pressure and the marketdemand change, but also the objective requirement of enhancing our cultural "softpower " and the implementation of the development of cultural industry.In the ponit of industrial convergence theory, taking the convergence developmentof tourism and cultural industry of Chongqing as the research object, this Paper madesystematic research on the motivation, path, mode and economic effect ofconvergence of tourism and cultural industry. On this basis, the development of theintegration of Chongqing tourism and cultural industry of Chongqing are analyzed. Atthe same time, putting out the measurement method of tourism industry and culturalindustry s fusion de’gree and calculating tourism industry and cultural industry’s usiondegree by using the input-output table of Chongqing. Through the establishment of anempirical model to analyze the relationship between the integration of tourism industryand cultural industry and the development of the tourism industry.The results show that, the fusion model which tourism industry penetrate to thecultural industry is more mature; the integrated model requires the integration ofresources to gradually matured; Finally, Chongqing need to seize the opportunity andtimely develop the extension mode of fusion when conditions are ripe.Meanwhile, theempirical analysis results show that, Fusion of tourism industry and cultural industry ofChongqing is overall upward trend and is much higher than that of tourism andaccommodation, food and beverage industry. The integration of tourism and culturalindustry is conducive to the further development of tourism industry.Finally, making a summary of the main conclusions and views of this paper,pointing out some deficiencies.
