A Study On The Influence Of Regional Factors On The Quality Enhancement Of Innovation-oriented Enterprises

With the acceleration of globalization in the21st century, national borders graduallydisappear, and region is becoming the main carrier of economic benefits. After the12thFive-Year Plan was carried out, to accelerate the transformation of economic growth modeand to enhance the capability of independent innovation were proposed, so the growth ofinnovation-oriented enterprises becomes the focus of public attention. Compare with thegrowth of firm scale, improvement in quality of innovation-oriented enterprises plays a keyrole. Hence, this paper studies the impact of regional factors on the enhancement of thequality of innovation-oriented enterprises.Unlike the traditional model in which the mechanism of enterprise growth impact wasresearched on the basis of “resource-based view”, this paper, through the introduction of“regional factors” as a new scenario variable,“organizational learning” as a mediatingvariable, builds a conceptual model in which the quality enhancement of innovation-orientedenterprises is influenced by regional factors, and studies how the mechanism works. Bytheoretical analysis, literature research, and qualitative research, this paper determines thequality of innovation-oriented enterprises is constituted by technical quality, managementquality, and personnel quality, and proposes four regional factors influencing its qualityenhancement: social services and infrastructure, regional social and cultural environment,regional legal environment for business, and regional innovation networks.With innovation-oriented in China as the research subject, this paper is based on the datafrom351valid questionnaires. Methods such as factor analysis and structural equationmodeling are used in conducting empirical research on sample data whose results show thatregional factors have a positive impact on the quality of innovation-oriented enterprises.Among the regional factors, regional social and cultural environment, regional legalenvironment for business, and regional innovation network have positive effects on thequality enhancement of innovation-oriented enterprises through organizational learning, andso do the social services and infrastructure building on the technical quality and the personnelquality in innovation-oriented enterprises. Based on the above analysis, this paper brings upcountermeasures and suggestions to promote the quality of innovation-oriented enterprisesfrom the two levels of corporate and governmental organizations.
