| In recent years, the hotel business is in intensely competitive in Hangzhou. However, compare with other star class hotels in Hangzhou, there are several aspects at a disadvantage, such as the reception capacity, reception level, customers’ reputation, average price hotel rooms, average letting rate of hotel rooms, total income and so on. Hotel A was always in the middle or lower level of the counterparts. These weaknesses lies in the performance of the main three existing circumstances, including equipment wear, a lack of high standard reception, shortage of professional service and so on. Therefore, in order to accommodate to intensely competitive challenge of hotel business in Hangzhou, it is of great urgency to make efforts to transform Hotel A to an upgraded star hotel, which is comprised of adjustment of hotel position, improvement of equipment and management system.The background of the survey and the outline of the research were demonstrated firstly in this article, which including international and national research progress. Secondly, the necessity of hotel A’s upgraded transformation program was also illustrated. According to the actual situation, the suggestion of functional arrangement facilities of the content, particularly in the hotel marketing position, development target, and strategic choice were based on analysis of SWOT. The suggestion of improvement of functional facilities and executive management was also proposed. In addition, the economic feasibility of hotel upgraded transformation was also discussed by investment estimation and prediction of project management. In conclusion, this article proves the feasibility and necessity of hotel A’s upgraded transformation program. |
