A Study On Green Coal Logistics In Resource-based Cities

Coal is important foundation energy and has an important significance, which has been dominated by a ratio of about70%in China’s primary energy consumption structure in recent years. The drawbacks of single function and industrial structure of the coal resources cities are increasingly evident, the economic transition and development of the city is imminent. The coal logistics provides the driving force for the development of coal resources cities and improves the speed and efficiency of the allocation of social resources circulation and achieve the coal products’ value-adding. On the other hand, the coal logistics activities cause many adverse effects on the environment because of its properties and existing production conditions. How to achieve the coal green logistics and sustainable development has become the key issue on the process of adjusting the economic structure and building the resource-conserving and environmental-friendly society in coal resources cities.The generalized coal logistics in resource-based cities has been studied in this paper, including the forward supply logistics, mining logistics, sales logistics and reverse logistics and waste logistics. The non-green factors has been extracted and relevant recommendations has been put forward in this paper on the basis of summarizing the knowledge of green logistics and coal logistics. A green degree of green logistics has been established after field research and scientific analysis in this paper. A multiple stage evaluation method with Extension Theory and entropy method have been used to determine the weight of each index. A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods has been used to determine the magnitude of each index. Through the empirical research, we find that the green degree of Huainan coal logistics is at a low level. Only with the constraints of regulations and policy support from the government, consciously implement of green logistics concepts from the enterprise and supervision from the public, may the Huainan local economy embark on a good and fast development path.
