The automotive industry is one of the six pillar industries in Liaoning Province,occupies a very important position in the national economy in Liaoning. So the autoindustry competitive research in Liaoning Province has a typical significance.Competitiveness of the automotive industry in Liaoning Province is an importantmeans of promoting the development of automobile industry in Liaoning Province. Froma macro point of view, the financial crisis has a serious impact on the domestic automarket, also provides opportunities and challenges for the adjustment of industrialstructure. The introduction of the country’s automobile industry restructuring andrevitalization plan "to accelerate the pace of restructuring and revitalization of theautomobile industry in Liaoning Province, but also so that it faced more problems. By factor analysis of Diamond Model, theautomobile industry in Liaoning Province, the industry chain is not complete andtechnological innovation capability. These problems are showing an important factor toaffect the competitiveness of Liaoning Province, the automobile industry, industrialdevelopment, industrial base and innovative R&D capabilities. Through factor analysis, found that the level of economic and social development,the market situation, the size of the auto industry and raw materials affecting theautomobile industry cluster in Liaoning Province, an important factor of thecompetitiveness.Thus forming a relatively complete index system.
