Global warming has received increasingly attention, which makes low-carboneconomy become more and more important. Based on the concept of sustainabledevelopment low-carbon economy is to reduce mostly the emissions of coal, oil othercarbon energy consumption and greenhouse gas to achieve economic and socialdevelopment at the same time by technological innovation, system innovation,industrial restructuring and new energy development. To develop low-carboneconomy is an inevitable choice from big to power for China. The key of low-carboneconomic development is to develop low-carbon technologies. Manufacturing hasmade tremendous contributions for China’s economic development. The main waysto get low-carbon technologies for developing countries is by clean developmentmechanism. However, the approach can only get low-carbon technologies rather thanthe core technology of low-carbon; we have to develop low-carbon technology inorder to improve our competitive advantage.Economic globalization broke the national and geographical constraints. In theglobal value chain, China’s manufacturing industry is in the low end of the valuechain. So we should develop comparative advantages positively and enhance theposition of global value chain for manufacturing industry through high-efficiencyand low-cost. Combined with domestic and foreign research, this paper conductsresearch about the value of China’s manufacturing industry in the global value chainon technology innovation from the perspective of value philosophy. We analyzedthis research from economic value, ecological value and social value, and thenconstructed the evaluation index system of manufacturing low-carbon technologyinnovation and empirical study for technological innovation of manufacturing under global value chains by AHP methods. Lastly, we proposed suggestions in valueenhancement of China’s manufacturing industry under the global value chain ontechnology innovation.
