G Companies Implement E-learning Optimization Countermeasures

The implementation of e-learning contains lots of forms and a variety of specific schemes. In this study, based on the interview and the questionnaire survey, the e-learning development situation of G company is investigated, where G company is one of the largest securities firms and is determined to be a learning organization. The major problems in e-learning development are revealed and corresponding root causes are analyzed. Combining with the characteristics of the G company, the solutions for current existing problems are explored, and the suggestions of optimization are proposed. Since the securities company is one kind of the typical knowledge-intensive enterprises, for instance, the G Company holds the honorary title of "PhD Legion", the study on the G’s e-learning case has a certain degree of representativeness and universality.Through the investigation and analysis, part of the employees in G company have a strong motivation of learning. Furthermore, the existing learning management system (LMS) of the company can meet most needs of e-learning by staff. However, in the implementation process of e-learning there are still many problems, such as the lack of practical curriculum resources, humdrum course form, inadequate exchange in the studying process, underachieving online reporting mechanism for the on-site training, the lack of learning motivation of most employees, and the incomplete mechanisms for learning assessment and stimulation.In response to the above problems, by drawing on the e-learning experience of other companies, based on G’s own characteristics, the relevant optimization is proposed. In short, G company should focus on optimizing the implementation of e-learning so as to enhance the promotion and application of e-learning. On the one hand, some measures should be done to improve the quality and level of supply in the platform of e-learning implementation, including richer curriculum resources and forms, providing online platform for communication, creating online book sharing. On the other hand, some measures should be done to strengthen the demand of stuffs on the e-learning, including the multi-channel publicity to cause the employees’concern on the system, making mandatory provisions to the online learning, setting comprehensive assessment indicators and corresponding incentives that can enhance the motivation of e-learning. Some problems needing attention in the implementation of optimization as well as corresponding recommendations are also presented in this thesis.
